NOTE: Players are expected to attend at least one of the tryout dates to
be eligible for a team. If you are interested in playing but cannot attend
either date you must contact Coach Rennard [email protected] prior to
October 12 to discuss options for trying out.
HIGH SCHOOL BOYS (JV/Varsity 9-12th grades)
Fairview Community Center

Thursday October 16 7:00-8:30pm
Saturday October 18 10:30a-12:00pm
Practice will begin 10/23/14 at the Xcel Sports Plex in Fletcher

homeschool teams in Western North Carolina.
MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS (6-8th grades)
Fairview Community Center

Thursday October 16 5:30-7:00pm
Saturday October 18 9:00-10:30am
Practice will begin 10/27/14 at the Xcel Sports Plex in Fletcher
-Middle School Coach: Will Davis
* Team plays a competitive schedule against public, private, and
homeschool teams in Western North Carolina.
NOTE: 5th grade boys interested in playing Middle School must contact
Coach Rennard prior to October 12 to discuss eligibility for the MS team.
CORNERSTONE BOYS (4-6th grades)
Dates for tryouts will be announced prior to October 16 but will occur after
the middle school team tryouts and team selection.
*Team plays in the East Asheville Recreation League
-Practice will begin the week of 11/3/14
-Cornerstone Coach: Garett Haire
NOTE: 6th grade boys may tryout for the middle school team and if not
successful can then tryout for the Cornerstone team. 4th grade boys must
be 10 years old by 11/1/14 and 6th grade boys must not be 13 years old
prior to 1/1/15.
GIRLS BASKETBALL (6-12 grades)

NOTE: A Middle School and/or JV Girls team will be formed if enough girls
are interested in playing. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to
learn the game of basketball and to have fun playing with other young
women. We have a competitive varsity team and are looking to expand
the program to include middle school girls and less experienced high
school girls (for a JV team). If you have questions about the Girls
