Cheer Registration and Routine Information:



$15.00 per participant which includes an event t-shirt
Three-session format with Session Starting at 9:00am.
Approximately one hour will be given between each session:
Session 1: Mini & Pee Wee divisions with awards to immediately follow
Session 2: Youth B and Youth A divisions with awards to immediately follow
Session 3: Middle and High School divisions with awards to immediately follow

















One Grand Champion will be awarded for each session.
A Grand Champion will be awarded from the Mini/PeeWee session and Youth-B/Youth-A session
with each registered team member receiving a trophy.
A Grand Champion will be awarded from the Middle/High School with each registered team
member receiving a jacket. The team winning Grand Champion will be given a certificate from
GTM Sportswear to order their jackets. This will allow for everyone to have their correct size and
team colors.
Warm-up times and schedule of events will be sent/emailed to coaches one week prior to the
competition.
No cheerleader will be allowed to compete without a waiver form completed.
In order to receive a T-shirt, your registration form, with T-shirt size for each participant, waiver
form and entry fee must be postmarked no later than October 17, 2014. A confirmation email will
be sent to the coach. Late registration will be taken until November 1, 2014.
Awards are based on the number and sizes of divisions, therefore no refunds will be given after
October 17, 2014 deadline.
Admission: $6.00 per adult, $3.00 school-aged children.
Cheer cannot exceed 2 ½ minutes – 10 point deduction (total).
No time limit on cheer or dance portion of the routine.
In case of a tie, the “Perfection of Routine” category will be used to break the tie.
School Cheer will follow NFHS Safety Rules, www.nfhs.com.
Safety violations will result in a 10 point deduction per infraction.
54’ x 42’ mat surface and mat time and warm-up will be provided.
No step off penalties.
The only props permitted are: megaphones, poms, flags and/or signs.
Bring 2 copies of your music.
There will be qualified judges scoring the cheer competition. The judging criteria are based on a 100

Pee Wee Division (up to 4th grade)
Youth B Division (up to 6th grade)
Youth A Division (up to 8th grade, youth leagues)
Middle School (6th-8th grade who cheer for a school team)
Junior Varsity (9th-11th grade, no maximum number)
Small Varsity (9th -12th grade, no more than 12 cheerleaders)
Medium Varsity (9th-12th grade, 13-16 cheerleaders)
Large Varsity (9th-12th grade, 17-30 cheerleaders)
Co-Ed Varsity (9th-12th grade, any males)
If your squad does not qualify in any of our listed divisions, please contact us ASAP! If divisions get to large, then splits will be made
based on number of participants.

At our competition, each squad will be given a classroom to get ready in. This portion of the school will
only be accessible to cheerleaders and coaches. Please indicate other coaches that you would like to have

will have to enter the building through the General Admission gate.
