A Great Need
Joyce and I had an incredible trip to Ledyard,
CT. Kyle and Marcia Dykes are such special
servants of God as they serve the Gallup Hill
Baptist Church. Kyle works under the North
American Mission Board as a church planter.
He is doing such an amazing work in a challenging area of our nation. It is a privilege for us
to be a part of that work.
Did You Invite Someone?
Did you invite someone new to join you for
Bible study this week? This is a really serious
matter as there are so many people in our community who are not in Bible study each week.
Your concern could be the key to someone’s
coming to know Jesus.
Fall Festival - October 29
The Fall Festival will be on Wednesday,
October 29, from 5:30 - 7:00 in the Youth
Ministry Building. Chris and the young people
do a great job with this event each year.

Sunday School
Have you heard from God today? The study of
God’s Word is essential to our lives if we are to
grow as Christians. God reveals His plans for us, He
builds us up, and He corrects us when we need it.
Bible study is the lifeline to God’s will for our lives.
Please continue to invite others to join us for this
essential “life support” system! See you this Sunday.

World Hunger Month
October is World Hunger Month in the
Southern Baptist Convention. Hunger is a huge
problem all over the world and is certainly a
problem right here in America. To help combat
the problem, Southern Baptists have a World
Hunger Fund that is used to provide food
around the world. We can do our part by giving
to this Fund. Rice bowl banks will be on the
supper tables on Wednesday night. Please put
your loose change in the banks each week this
month. We can help others in this small way.
