Manual to modify the rear postmound adapter
at the Capra
Preamble
Due to given tolerances when manufacturing goods, it might happen
that the brake-pads of the Brake assembled on your CAPRA does not
fully cover the surface of the Disc.
Because of this there had been cases that a little part of the brake-pad
remains untouched.
In no case this is a frunctionality- or security-decreasing issue but only
cosmetical.
However, we decided to alter the Adapter in its height to ensure the
brake-pads to cover the disc completely.
Additionally we send you some new brake pads so that you can swap
them with those which are worn unevenly.
The following manual describes in detail how to swap the adapter and
the brake-pads.

Picture 8 – After replacing the Adapter, it now is the brake-pad's turn.
Please follow these steps:
- Firstly, disassemble the securing clip by pulling it off the screw.
- After this unscrew the securing bolt from the brake-caliper.

Picture 9 - Subsequently you can extract the brake-pads by pushing
them a little to the front and then pulling them upwards out of the
brake-caliper. The assembling of the new brake-pads is done in the
opposite direction.

Picture 11 u. 12 - After swapping the Adapter including the screws and brakepads you need to readjust the brake. This is done like this:
- Tighten the Screws until you can move the brake-caliper only a little bit
- Now adjust the brake-caliper according to the light- gap between disc and
brake-pads (picture 11)
- After this carefully tighten the screws in an altering way so that the brakecaliper does not vary in its position
- Finally tighten the screws with 8 to 10 Nm.
