AER LINGUS IRISH AIRLINES
NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
Your Negotiating Committee met with the Company on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at the company
offices in Jericho. Present for the company were Ken Karchinski, Annamarie Weismantel, Lisa Taylor
and Regina Dawson. Present for the Union were Mike Manzo, Diane Seddio and Maria Restuccia.
We were given a presentation by Regina Dawson on the projected increase in costs of the medical plans
and changes that would be required in order to avoid the “Cadillac tax” when it is implemented.
We are waiting for a quote from the IAM Benefit Trust Fund on the health insurance so we can explore
all available options to get the best deal possible.
Future dates scheduled for negotiations are November 6, 12, 13 and 14, 2014.
