The Madison Jobe Senior Center is a recreation facility for active adults 50 years of age and older. It is operated by
the City of Pasadena Parks and Recreation Department and is located near the intersection of Red Bluff and Thomas,
close to Hwy 225. Whether you are working, semi-retired, or retired, we offer a variety of great leisure, educational
and personal development opportunities for you. Our programs offer activities that encourage and support health,
creativity, and social interaction for active adults.
Why not take the time to try something new?
In the Spotlight
“Lou Ann Nolan”
I feel very blessed to be the newest member of
Madison Jobe’s wonderful team. To tell you a little
about myself, I love God, family, friends, puppies,
kittens, candy corn, horses, music theatre, country
music, honest laughter and the United States of
America. I am also grateful every day for our
veterans and our troops who have ensured that we
can live every day enjoying freedom. Things I do
not like are beets and mean spiritedness. I am the
proud mother of a son and a daughter, one is at Yale
in the master’s program and the other is a bank VP
in Chattannooga, TN. My grandmother used to tell
me that if you smiled every day until 10 a.m. you
would smile the rest of the day, so I try my best to
live those words. I believe that a positive attitude
and joyful spirit are the best makeup one can wear.
SENIOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE
There has been a Senior Advisory Committee formed at
Madison Jobe Senior Center. There are five committee
members who welcome your comments and suggestions
so please feel free to talk to them anytime. This
committee was formed at the request of the Mayor’s
office. I look forward to working with the committee
members to make Madison Jobe Senior Center all it can
be!
