“Lou Ann Nolan”
Happy Thanksgiving to all our wonderful people who
come here to Madison Jobe!!! We are certainly
thankful that Eric Muecke has agreed to come back
and join our team here at Madison Jobe. Hooray!!!
Eric has been very busy creating new programs at the
library the last few months and has some exciting
ideas for us to work together with the library to create
even more great experiences for our seniors. Be sure
to drop by his office to say hello and welcome him
back.
Our Veteran’s Appreciation Luncheon is Thursday,
Nov. 6th. I would like to express my deep gratitude
and humble appreciation for our service personnel
everywhere who have protected and continue to
protect our freedom. I am grateful that I live in
freedom, that my children have never known anything
but freedom and that all of us continue to live in
freedom in the greatest country in the world.
We have a few more changes to note, we have
changed the date of our holiday open house to
December 12th, at which we will also celebrate our
30th Anniversary of the Madison Jobe Center.
We will also have the Ms. Pasadena Senior Pageant
March 26th, so mark your calendars. We are looking
for contestants to participate in this fun event. Our
staff will be happy to assist with suggestions for the
talent competition, as we are slightly modifying rules
a bit this year to make it more friendly and fun.
Lastly, I leave you with a quote from R. Mildred
Barker, “True Gratitude, like true love, must find
expression in acts, not words.” Have a wonderful
Thanksgiving, y’all!!!!
