CMAngels Tidbit:
Have you joined the throng of CMAngels yet? If not, here are some words
to encourage you! If we take our role as stewards of all God has entrusted to
us, we will grow with every passing year to become more generous. Bishop
Fulton Sheen once said, Never measure your generosity by what you give,
but rather by what you have left. Please help support the Church by
donating today to the CMA!
A very warm welcome
is extended
to all who have come
to St. Stanislaus Church
to worship.
We are grateful to our parishioners

XXIX Sunday in Ordinary Time
There are obligations we have to the governing authorities,
such as paying taxes, exercising our right to vote, and obeying
civil laws. But as followers of Jesus Christ, our ultimate
obligation is to "seek first the kingdom of God." There can only
be one top priority.
Jesus reminds us that if we are so concerned and careful about
paying taxes to the state, we should be much more concerned and
careful about their service to God and our obligations to Him as
their Creator and Lord. Do I pay to God what is His ?..my time,
treasure, talent ? Do I love God with all my heart, all my soul and
with all my mind ? OR do I steal from God and give to Ceasar?
All Souls Day Remembrance Wypominki
During the month of November, we remember in a special
way our loved ones who have already finished their earthly
journey and have entered the new life, but who are forever in our
hearts. All Souls Day Remembrance Wypominki are one of the
religious practices in which we commit to God s care our dear
departed loved ones. The envelopes for All Souls Day
Remembrance - Wypominki , are to be found in the pews and at
the entrances to the Church. Please fill them out with the names
of your loved ones, for which you would like to have the prayers
said during the special mass, and return them with the Sunday
collection or to the parish office. Please turn them in by
Monday, October 27th.
Catholic Ministries Appeal

$44,180. As of October 7, 2014 the amount of $4,525 was
received in contributions from 32 parishioners which represents

World Mission Sunday this Weekend
On World Mission Sunday Catholics of the world unite at
Mass to recommit ourselves to tour vocation, through Baptism, to
be missionaries. The Church s missionary activity begins with the
proclamation of faith: Jesus is Lord ! He is our common hope - a
hope that saves. On World Mission Sunday, we are called in a
special way to be missionaries of faith through prayer and
participation in the Eucharist, and by giving generously to the
collection.
