AANAC RAC-CT® PROGRAM
How the Recertification Program Works:
This workshop qualifies for the MDS 3.0
RAC-CT® Recertification for individuals that
received their certification beginning in April
2010 through AANAC.
In order to complete the recertification process, you are required to complete and pass
with a score of 80% or higher on two final
exams associated with this workshop: MDS
3.0 updates and MDS 3.0 Common Coding
Errors.
Once you have passed the two final exams,
your certification will be in good standing for
an additional two years. AANAC will process
and mail a new certificate within 10 to 14
days of completion of the recertification requirements.
If you have your MDS 2.0 certification and did
not recertify in MDS 3.0 after April 2010, you
will need to take the ten course RAC-CT®
program.
Contact Hours:
The American Association of Nurse

 Describe changes to SNF PPS for Fiscal Year
2014
 Identify the most common MDS coding errors
and understand how to avoid them
 Outline the proposed MDS 3.0 Quality
Measures
