Sensational Staff: Our Primary Grades Team
MS. SARA - KINDERGARTEN
Ms. Sara graduated from the University of Arizona
with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She spent one year
teaching 5th grade in Tucson before relocating to
Columbus with her husband, who is pursuing his Ph.D.
in Cellular Biology at The Ohio State University. For the
past 2 years, she has worked with Columbus City
Schools as a reading interventionist for K-3 grades. Ms.
Sara’s hobbies include baking, reading, and spending
time with her husband, Michael, and their English
bulldog, Belle. She loves traveling and football.
MS. BRITTANY - FIRST GRADE
Ms. Brittany graduated from The Ohio State University in
2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science.
Although she is very proud to have earned this degree, she didn’t feel
as though she was truly passionate about it. As a result, she started
substitute teaching for South-Western City Schools and immediately
felt the connection that she was looking and hoping for in a
profession. Upon discovering her love for teaching, she enrolled in the
Bachelor’s Plus Program at Ashland University and earned her
PreK-3 teaching license. Ms. Brittany is married to a wonderful man
named Phil, and they have a very happy and energetic 2-year-old
daughter, Natalie. When she is not cheering for the buckeyes, she
enjoys biking, running, hiking, swimming, playing softball, and any
other outdoor activity.
MS. NICHOLE - SECOND GRADE
Ms. Nichole graduated from Wright State
University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Early Childhood Education with a PreK-3 Reading
Endorsement.
She has 9 years of experience
working with students in the classroom and 6 years
of private tutoring. When she is not teaching, Ms.
Nichole enjoys spending time with her husband,
Josh, and their two puppies. She also enjoys scrap
booking, exercising, and cooking.
