The SEEK Learning Center has an opening for an Accounting Tutor. Qualified candidates should be well versed in Accounting;
Accounting Majors preferred with experience in upper level courses.
Tutor must have at least 24 credits, a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) and a grade of “B” or better in the subject area.

Open House - Albert Einstein School of Medicine
Date: Sunday, October 26, 2014
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The Annual Diversity Student Open House will give you an opportunity to visit Albert Einstein College of Medicine and obtain
information about the medical school and the Graduate Division in Biomedical Sciences. You will also have an opportunity to
meet some of the diversity medical and graduate students that attend the college. Presentations will be made on the medical
school and graduate school admission process and summer programs for diversity students. Tours will be conducted of the
campus and lunch will be provided.

Public Service Fellows Program, Washington, DC
This program offered by the Partnership for Public Service is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students as well as
recent graduates to contribute to the Partnership’s mission while developing valuable professional skills.
Fellows work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; their responsibilities often include event planning and execution,
conducting research, writing and preparing correspondence, and conducting outreach to external partners, such as government
agencies and colleges and universities. Additionally, there is time allocated to support the organization by taking shifts to staff
the front desk and assisting other teams as needed.
The fellows program also incorporates opportunities for professional and personal growth through workshops and trainings
specifically geared toward students and young professionals.



Full-time fellows with an undergraduate or graduate degree will receive a $1000 per month stipend.
Full-time fellows who are currently undergraduate students will receive an $800 per month stipend.
Part-time fellow stipends will be pro-rated accordingly.

The Brooklyn College NSF REU Program in Neuroscience is currently seeking talented and enthusiastic undergraduate applicants
for its upcoming Spring 2015 Program. This is an exciting 15-week mentored research opportunity! All NSF REU recipients will

The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

Thirty fellowships of up to $90,000 of two -year study will be awarded for study at any graduate or professional
school. Applicants must be "New Americans", which includes Green Card Holders, naturalized citizens and children of parents
where both parents are naturalized citizens. Eligible candidates are graduate school students, college seniors or bachelors'
degree recipients up to the age of 30. Highly competitive. A successful candidate needs at least two of the following criteria:
1. creativity, originality and initiative;
2. commitment to and capacity for accomplishment;
3. commitment to the values expressed in the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.

The SEEK Computer Lab is open to all SEEK participants!

SEEK provides all SEEK program participants with a supplemental 100 page printing quota per semester. SEEK participants are
also able to print via their OneCard at the SEEK Computer Lab.
*Please note that the Student Resource Center located at Room 202 Thomas Hunter Hall provides all students with a 300 page
printing quota per semester.
