The SEEK Learning Center has an opening for an Accounting Tutor. Qualified candidates should be well versed in Accounting;
Accounting Majors preferred with experience in upper level courses.
Tutor must have at least 24 credits, a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) and a grade of “B” or better in the subject area.

Everything You Need to Know about Being a Pre-Health Student

Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship Information Sessions
Are you a first or second year student and interested in an exceptional internship experience which offers seminars, cultural
experience and mentoring? This program gives promising and accomplished freshmen and sophomores on-the-job learning
that will provide opportunities for leadership and personal growth. The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship offers students the
opportunity for paid internships of $5,000- $6,000 for three consecutive summers.
Fellows will explore work in nonprofit organizations, government service, private enterprise and a summer abroad. The
internship will be developed in consultation with the Fellow in terms of the Fellow's growing interests. Seminars and cultural
events complete the Watson experience. Candidates must be no older than 21 years old as of March l, 2015 and must be a US
citizen or green card holder.
The application deadline for this event is Thursday, January 15, 2015.

Udall Undergraduate Scholarship
Do You Want to Work for the Betterment of the Environment?
The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation offers scholarships to sophomores and juniors and who have
demonstrated their commitment to public service and have the potential to make significant contributions to the
environment, conservation issues, and related fields. This national scholarship program provides a scholarship of up
to $5,000 and provides the opportunity to meet and work with a national network of environmental leaders.

Beinecke Scholarship
The Beinecke Scholarship Program has invited Hunter College to nominate one student for a $34,000 scholarship to use
towards a master's or doctoral degree in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Doctoral degrees are preferred and
professional school programs are not favored by the Beinecke selection committee
Eligibility:
The competition is open to juniors who expect to receive a baccalaureate degree between January 2016 and August 2016.
Demonstrated high academic achievement, US citizenship, and a history of receiving need-based financial aid are among the
criteria.

An expert panel explores the challenges within the U.S. criminal justice system and sheds light on the intricacies of the
adversary legal process. This event also features Philip C. Bobbitt, Herbert Wechsler Professor of Jurisprudence at Columbia
University and Director of the Center on National Security at Columbia Law School, and Akhil Reed Amar, Sterling Professor of
Law and Political Science at Yale University. Continental breakfast served at 9 a.m.; program begins at 9:30 a.m. Limited

Two Internships at Sneak Attack Media
Sneak Attack Media is a boutique digital marketing company located in NYC. We provide digital marketing, social media, and
online public relations services for a variety of clients, mostly music, from both indie and major labels.
1) Internships in Music and Marketing
Currently, we're seeking motivated interns who wish to have a hand in all facets of the music and marketing industry, make
great contacts, garner experience in marketing and social media, and have fun in a relaxed yet professional environment!
Computer/Internet savvy is a must. Experience with Photoshop and Graphic Design is required. This is an unpaid internship, but
college credit is available.
Tasks and Activities:








Helping to set up targeted online marketing and social media campaigns
Assisting with execution of online promotions and contests
Assisting with writing press release and pitch emails
Helping to maintain databases of online outlets
Researching new online outlets and marketing opportunities
Compiling coverage reports
Assisting with the maintenance of social networking profiles (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) for various clients
Helping with mailings, etc.
