Keeping in view the aims and objectives of CBSE, to encourage sportsmanship and to promote friendly relations
among the schools, to raise the general standards of Sports and Games prevailing in the schools as well as to
work for all round development & values through sports amongst students. We are pleased to inform you that the
responsibility of organizing the CBSE Cluster XI Kho-Kho tournament 2014 for Boys and Girls (Under 19
years) has been entrusted to Prestige Public School, Indore (M.P). The tournament will commence from
Friday 17th October and will end on Sunday 19th October, 2014.
We look forward to your school‟s participation and co-operation in the tournament.
Kindly mail your consent letter on or before October 10, 2014 to enable us to make necessary arrangements.
All the participating teams (outside) should positively report at the venue for the tournament by 4.00 pm on
October 16, 2014 (Thursday)

BOARDING AND LODGING
1. Prestige Public School will provide separate accommodations for boys and girls in the dormitories in the
school Hostels.
2. The team Managers and Coaches are supposed to stay with their teams.
3. The payment for food & staying will be borne by the teams and the cost of food and stay per head per
day is Rs. 350/- shall be deposited in advance at the account Section and Advance Deposit of Rs. 1500/(Refundable.)
4. Only vegetarian food shall be served.
5. The contingent should bring Blanket while mattresses, bed sheets & pillows will be provided by the
school.
6. All participants are advised to carry their own mosquito repellants, lock & key for safety.
7. The team shall be responsible for their belongings and are advised not to carry costly items with them.
8. The contingent must not put damage to Prestige Public Schools Property. In case of any damage the
participating team will have to bear the cost.
9. The team officials are requested to complete all the formalities and clear all the payments before their
departure.
10. Every Day Last entry in the campus by 9.00 pm. After 9.00 pm. No team members will be allowed to go
out of the campus.
11. The departing teams are requested to inform Four Hrs. prior from their Departure to the Accounts
Department for clearance of their accounts.

TRANSPORT FACILITY :
1. Prestige Public School will provide bus facility. (from Airport/Railway Station / Bus stand to the
School).

conveyance.

MANDATORY
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. To provide the team photograph, taken along with the school Principal and countersigned by
him/her.
2. For students/players studying in IX Std. and above, to provide CBSE Registration Number along
with the CBSE Registration Card (Compulsory) attested by the School Principal.
3. For students/Players studying in XI & XII Std. to provide X Std. certificate with photo issued by the
Board.
4. All the participating schools must attach the proof of payment of Annual Sports Fees 2014-15.
5. Identity Cards issued by CBSE (Unique ID) duly attested by the School Principal.
6. The participating should bring two school flags and shall be required to participate in March Past at
opening ceremony.
7. All the players are expected to bring two sets of sports kit and one set of school uniform.
8. The team official/ Manager/coaches and student must carry their identity card duly attested by
Principal.
9. Girl‟s team should be escorted by lady coach manager/P.E.T.
10. No team will permitted to participate without accompanying officials.
Rules & Regulation:
1. The tournament will be played under the rules and regulations as adopted by the Kho-Kho federation of
India /CBSE
2. All the players should be within the particular age group as on December 31, 2014 for under 19
categories on or after 01/01/1996.
3. Protest of any nature should reach the Organizing Secretary and CBSE observer in writing within half an
hour of the declaration of result. It should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/-(Non Refundable).
4. The decision of the referee/Umpire is final and binding.
5. School withdrawing without informing/requesting the organizing school, will be penalized with a
penalty of Rs.1000/6. You are advised to go through CBSE rules and Regulations 2014 and the Amendments 2014 that govern
this tournament very carefully to avoid any sort of ambiguity.

Indore :Planned and built by Rani Ahilyabai the brave Holkar Queen, Indore lies to the extreme West of
Madhya Pradesh n NH3 (Agra Mumbai) on the banks of the rivers Saraswati, Khan which unite at the
Centre of the city. It is connected from all sides by Road, Train and Air.
