3. CREDIT TRANSFER
• Indication of AU allocation and crediting of 3 AUs will be done after you have
successfully completed the programme.
• Please ensure you have the proper travel documents for entry to
Vietnam. The passport must have at least 6 months validity from the
programme end date.
• You are advised to make a photocopy of the bio-data page of your
Passport and IC, and bring them along. If asked to present your
identification documents, the photocopy should suffice.
• Singaporean males are reminded to log on to the NS Portal at www.ng.sg
to give notification of overseas trips.
• Time Difference: Seoul is ahead of Singapore by 1 hour.
• Submission of NTU Online Indemnity Form. Instructions on submission
will be sent separately by email.

• Be on the alert for petty crimes; snatch thefts and
pickpocketing are prevalent. Keep your belongings and

• Regular cabs are generally orange, sliver or white
• Taxi drivers generally do not speak English, bring along the
address written in Korean and map location. International cabs
available and written ‘International Taxi’ on the door.
• Basic fare: KRW3,000. Additional fare at KRW100 per 150m
when driving or 30-40 seconds when stationary.

• If you’ve health problems, bring your personal medication and
inform OGEM & appointed student leader.
• Drugs and controlled drugs. Bring doctor’s prescription.
• Bring along medication for common ailments.
• Do not over-drink, over-party and do not miss class. The
program is intensive. It is obvious when you miss classes and
you may not be able to catch up.
• Long sleeve T-shirts or shirts and jeans are
recommended. Layer with sweaters and winter
jackets.
• Mittens, scarves, shoes/ boots, heat packs….
• Good walking shoes.
• Be punctual and stay united

NTU and Singapore to our Vietnamese
