What is an application pool?
• An application pool is a part of IIS that lets
you organize and isolate your website
applications into separate pools.
• If the applications are in separate pools,
and one application fails (e.g., a custom
application) the other applications are not
affected.

IQA on the Desktop
IQA on the Desktop
• Removed because of Omnis issues
• It is possible to add the old navigation links
back to the desktop, but this not supported
• (C)Systems has documentation if you ask
nicely: http://bit.ly/1B8uXBG
Preventing Emergencies
• Disable ‘Delete from Customer Portfolio’
• Never delete the Manager, Administrator
or Guest accounts. Update your purge
scripts to prevent this.
Preventing Emergencies
• Create a read-only login for reporting
• Make backups.
• Make another backup in case you do
something stupid before running billing,
imports, purges
