You will be expected to show technical and formal progress in assigned work as well as your final project. 2. You will be expected to participate in discussions and in critiques and talk about your own and others’ work thoughtfully. 3. All assignments and work for critiques must be presented on time. Late assignments WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 4. You are required to attend EVERY CLASS. Three absences will result in automatic failure. If you are sick please notify me via email latest by 9am the day of the class. If you miss class it is your sole responsibility to catch up and familiarize yourself with the new material. 5. Come to class on time. The TA will take attendance in the very beginning of every class. Two “late arrivals/early departures” equals 1 absence. 6. You are required to attend the scheduled class field trip. If you have a conflict you will be expected to visit all the shows on your own and submit a 500 word written review. Class rules 1. Turn off your cell phones prior to entering the classroom – NO TEXTING during class time. Computers will be used for class work use only, NO SURFING ON THE INTERNET unless allowed by the professor. If I catch you, you will be asked to leave and it will count as an absence. 2. DEMOS WILL NOT BE REPEATED if you do not pay attention. Materials required for this class 1. Digital camera (able to produce RAW files), fixed angle lens (50mm, 35mm) 2. External hard-drive (minimum 250 Gb) 3. Card reader 4.
