SSI now offers a full line of electric dual-head, constant
pressure pumps for a wide range of column packing
applications. These pumps offer the complete range of
control and pressure options for packing new small
particles (1-micron – 10-micron) and soft, pressure
sensitive polymeric materials.
 0.01 – 12.00 or 0.01 – 24.00 ml/min flow rate

Column Packing System
Ordering Information
SSI’s column packing reservoir system is specifically
designed to provide fast, versatile, safe packing of
efficient, reproducible columns. An internal baffle prevents
the inlet flow stream from impinging directly on the slurry
in the reservoir. A conical outlet section promotes smooth
transfer of the slurry to the column. The quick-changed
threaded reservoir closures help avoid slurry-settling
problems and promote more reproducible packings.
Description
The modular design allows fast interchange of reservoir
housings and column connectors. Knurled closure nuts
and Kalrez® seals combine to allow fast, leak-tight
changes to be made by hand – no tools required. The
column couplings are drilled to allow direct contact of the
column to a pre-column of the same diameter. This allows
the columns to be removed without disturbing the packing
bed.
