Target Audience
A continuing education program for nurses,
physicians, body therapists, counselors,
psycho-therapists, other health professionals,
and individuals desiring an in-depth
understanding and practice of healing work
related to pre and post-surgical interventions
as integrative adjuncts to medical care.
Course Pre-Requisite
Completion of Healing Touch Level 2
OR
Completion of Healing Touch Level 1
with permission of instructor.
Course Description
This interactive training program combines
specific holistic tools to help you reduce pain,
accelerate healing and relieve stress for persons
undergoing surgical or medical procedures,
chemotherapy, radiation or any procedure
involving discomfort or anxiety. This is a course
of study towards a certificate of completion as
an approved provider for The BEYOND
SURGERY® Program. This comprehensive
seminar incorporates a variety of basic healing
modalities and coaching techniques.
Course Content
• Overview of BSP components, including
Healing Touch, Customized Guided Imagery,
Anxiety Release Technique, and HeartMath®
Technology.
• Basics of Surgical Coaching including
elimination of anxiety, focus on positive
outcomes, elevation of immune system,
physical relaxation, creation of support
systems, and initiation of the body’s innate
self-healing response.
• Description and experiential of Anxiety
Release Technique (ART)
• Description and experiential of HeartMath®
technology and the Quick Coherence
Technique® for emotional shifting and
activating the body’s innate healing response.
• Overview of Guided Imagery and its rationale
