STUDENT REMINDERS about some expectations:
 During your lunch period, students are to remain in the cafeteria unless you have permission to leave.
 If you are requested to attend by a teacher for RTI, you are expected to attend. If you don't, it will be considered the same as
skipping a class and disciplinary measures will be taken. Take advantage of the RTI time to get assistance with your courses.
NURSE NOTES: We are seeing a lot of kids with headaches, stomach aches and fevers. Nurse Gent reminds you to follow
these steps: 1) WASH YOUR HANDS 2) Bathe at least every other day 3) Keep hands AWAY from your face 4)
Avoid dehydration 5) Get enough SLEEP! (8-10 hrs per night is needed for growing bodies).
PINK PENNY WAR: The Midland cheerleaders are sponsoring a Pink Penny War, with funds going to Breast Cancer Research.

HS music student’s cookie dough/cheesecake fundraiser: Orders MUST be turned in on Monday, November 3rd in the
morning to Mrs. Wright. Checks need to be made out to Midland Music Boosters. You must turn in all money and orders.
Please double check your orders to make sure they are correct! If you get done fundraising before the 3rd, bring your order in
this week! See Mrs. Wright with any questions!

Any veteran, past or present, or family member may have their photo and info placed into a slide show for the Midland HS
Veteran’s Day Ceremony. Please send a photo, the veteran’s name, branch of service, years of service and hometown to Mr.
Ahouse at MHS. This is a new slide presentation so we need the photo again if you’d previously sent it. Vets Day Program is
Tues, Nov 11 at 2:30PM in the gym, it is open to the public. Please come join us honor our veterans.
