Psalm 41: 1-2 “Blessed is he who considers the poor!” EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Our principal Catholic belief is the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Eucharistic Adoration gives Catholics the opportunity to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Many have found that one hour with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the most peaceful and satisfying hour of their day. Jesus invites us to do so: “Come with me all you who are weary and burdened. Come to me and I will refresh you.” Come as you are. Bring the kids; Jesus loves little children! Stay for five minutes, or for the whole hour. Just come! Eucharistic Adoration is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th from 9am to 6:00pm. ICS Washington DC Trip Fundraiser Newspaper Recycling Drive will be Friday, th November 7 from 3pm to 6pm, Saturday, th November 8 from 9am to 6pm and Sunday, th November 9 from 9am to noon. Please drop off unwanted newspapers, magazines, torn down cardboard (includes cereal boxes, clean pizza boxes, etc.) and office paper. No hardcover books are being accepted. You do not have to separate the items before dropping off at the trailer. The collection trailer will be parked in the lot across from the school by the basketball court. Please do not drop papers off until the dates and times scheduled. MESSAGE FROM FATHER JONATHAN Dear Parishioners, Please do plan on coming to St. Paul, Norwalk, to meet our new bishop, this Wednesday, October 29. Bishop Thomas will lead evening prayer at 7:00 p.m. in the church and then be at a reception in the attached Gathering Space. Also plan on coming to our annual Fall Fun Night next Saturday, November 1, following the 4:30 p.m. Mass. This is a great time in our gym as well as a major fundraiser for us. Please note that the Solemnity of All Saints, November 1, is NOT a holy day of obligation this year as it falls on Saturday. We will follow our regular weekend schedule and celebrate the feast of All Souls at the weekend Masses. We especially remember all our parishioners who have died since last November. Eternal rest grant unto them, Oh, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Fr. Jonathan Baskets Wanted: The 5th Annual Fall Fun Night will be Saturday, November 1st after the 4:30pm Mass.
