With our new 1:1 Initiative, students and staff are provided a digital tablet to utilize advanced technology every day. Midway ISD comprises 93 square miles, serves the cities of Waco, Hewitt, Robinson, McGregor, and Woodway and educates approximately 7,200 students. GPA and class ranks are weighted. Pre-AP and AP courses receive a weighting of 1.1. Course credit is awarded at the end of each semester. Midway Average Rank The graduating class of 2014 consisted of 494 students. The median (middle) grade point average was 90.3276. Students graduating in the top quarter of the class had an average of 95.4093 or better. Students graduating in the top ten percent of the class had an average of 99.0320 or higher. Approximately $14.6 million in scholarships were offered to the class of 2014 graduates.
