Accessing engageDrilling
GE engageDrilling is a Web-based solution which provides an interactive, collaborative,
multi-modal venue for customers to manage all aspects of their drilling business
relationship with GE.
You must have a GE user account to request access to the engageDrilling application.
Your account is known as a Single Sign On (SSO) account.
NOTE: Requesting an SSO ID is a one-time procedure. If you already have an SSO ID,
you can skip to Signing in.
To apply for a SSO account, you can use any of the following Web browsers:

Google Chrome version 28 and later
l
Mozilla Firefox 28 and later
l
Safari version 5 or later
Requesting a GE Single Sign On User Account
The GE Single Sign On (SSO) account allows you to access GE software. All users needing
to access GE software such as engageDrilling must have a SSO ID number (for example,
999999999). If you do not have a GE SSO user account, follow this procedure before
requesting access:
1. Enter the following Web site address in a supported Web browser:
www.engageDrilling.com
The engageDrilling sign-in page opens.

2. Click the Sign Up Now! link located in the upper left of the page. The SSO Registration
Application page appears.

3. On the SSO Registration Application page, enter:

Your name
Your first name, middle initial, and last
name
Your email address
The email address that GE can use to send

you your SSO credentials. Enter it again to
confirm that it is correct.
Your choice of user ID and password
Your choice of user ID and password. Click
Check to make sure your choice of user
ID is not already taken. Enter your
password again to make sure it is correct.
Password challenge
Choose a question that only you can
answer and then enter your answer. If
your user ID and password are stolen,
unauthorized users would have to know
the answer you provided to this question.
Security challenge icon
Click one of the security challenge icons
on top of the Drop Here circle. Anyone
attempting to log in will have to know
which icon you selected.
4. Click Submit. You will receive an email confirming your SSO ID and password. (The
Submit button displays when you complete the security challenge.)
TIP: For more information about the SSO ID, click the SSO FAQs link at the bottom of
the sign-in page.
Requesting Access to engageDrilling
To request access to engageDrilling:
1. Enter the following Web site address in a supported web browser:
www.engageDrilling.com
2. Enter your SSO ID and password, then click Log in.

3. In the screen that opens, enter your phone number and title.
4. Click Request Access. The EULA (End User License Agreement) screen opens.

5. Read the agreement, then click Accept. Within two days, you will receive an email
confirming access to engageDrilling, enabling you to sign in.
NOTE: If you need to be able to use engageDrilling sooner, contact Customer
Support (see back page) to expedite your request. As soon as your request is
processed, you will receive the credentials you need to log into engageDrilling.

Signing In
To sign in to engageDrilling:
1. Enter the following Web site address in a supported Web browser:
www.engageDrilling.com
2. The engageDrilling sign-in page opens. Enter your GE user account user name or SSO
ID.
3. Enter your Password.
4. Click Sign in. The engageDrilling My Rigs module opens, displaying the fleet
dashboard.
Getting Sign In Help
Use the links at the left on the sign-in page to request help if you have forgotten your SSO
ID or password.
To get help with a forgotten SSO ID or password:
1. Enter the engageDrilling Web site address in a supported web browser.
2. On the engageDrilling sign-in page, click either the Forgot your Password? or Forgot
your User ID? link.
3. Follow the directions for entering the information required to receive an email with
help for your forgotten SSO ID or password.
Changing Your Password
It is recommended that you change your password after one has been assigned to you.
Password requirements:
l
Must have 8 to 15 characters.
l
Must contain lowercase letters.

Must contain at least 2 embedded numbers.
l
Must begin and end with a letter.
l
Must not contain your SSO ID.
To modify your account, including changing your password:
1. Enter the engageDrilling Web site address in a supported web browser.
2. On the engageDrilling sign-in page, click the Modify Your Account link.
3. Enter your sign in credentials, then click Log In. The SSO Central Modify Application
page opens.
4. Type your Current Password.
5. Type your new password in the Password and Please confirm Password fields, then
click Submit
Signing Out
To sign out of this application:
1. From the upper-right corner, click the drop-down arrow next to your name,
2. Select Sign Out.
3. Close your browser (to ensure you are signed out).
