Sundowner
Our yearly Sundowner starts on Friday 7 November
It will once again be organised by Brian Kemlo and Jay
Jooste
After last year’s huge success I am really looking forward to
see if we can improve even more
It is such a great way of staring the weekend and we want to
see everyone participate , bring all your friends and potential
members and enjoy the whisky/lucky draw afterwards
CLASSIC WEEK
We kicked off with a stunning Mixed sponsored by Marian
and Chris Dorrington. Although there was a little breeze
everybody enjoyed it thoroughly and the traditional fish &
chips went down well afterwards

Our sponsors the Dorringtons found the day to stressful and
managed to win the potatoes for longest day
We auctioned off the potatoes for a solid R700 SA Rant

Tuesday’s Ladies & Gents was played in awesome weather
and as you can see below they had a lot of fun
All I can say is do not ask our lady captain to demonstrate
how an unbreakable wine glass don’t break , it was hilarious
There she stands inviting our sponsor for the day Kathy
Mossop from MK & Associates to come forward and hand
over this unbreakable wine glass , and taps it on the table , en
daar breek die hele wynglas , in sy kanon in!!
That was a Master card moment , well done Denise alias
Breaker Morant!!
The winners on a great 51 points was Jane Wagenfeld and
Tony Tucker standing in the middle
Nashua sponsored our Classic Wednesday and it was a
pearler!!
Once again it was perfect weather and the course was
absolutely stunning
The players enjoyed Van Loveren strawberry and chocolate
cream on the course and Stellenbrau gave them 3 different
draughts after the game
They finished off with lekker Beef Strogonoff and a great
prize table
A big thanks to Nashua , Stefan Stander and Stafford Harding
They are also going to part sponsor our Pro Am that will be
played on the 17 November , dankie julle!!

A man and a woman are seated next to each other on a flight.
They start eying each other, and both realize they want to do the
same thing.
He slips a condom out of his pocket, and she looks delighted.
Rear toilet - five minutes, he suggests. She agrees and goes off.
He waits five minutes, then goes and slips in there with her. Okay,
get that condom on, she says.
Soon, they are both sighing with pleasure. But a sharp eyed
stewardess has noticed them, and realized what they are up to.
So she humiliates them by making an announcement over the PA
system.
"To the lady and gentleman in the rear toilet, we know what you
are doing, and it is expressly forbidden by airline regulations. Now,
please put those cigarettes out and take the condom off the
smoke detector."
