Student Spotlight on Jaci Caine
Some might call Jaci Caine a
“hero.” Centennial’s senior
class historian was born in
Gainesville and is an avid
University of Florida fan. She
hopes to enroll in the college
next year to focus on pediatric neurology. Indeed, Caine
embodies heroic qualities.
She participates in outreach
mission trips and was selected as one of 20 to serve
on the Florida Youth Commission, where she works
with her peers, state legislators and cabinet members
to enhance the Department
of Juvenile Justice. On a
local level, Jaci participates
in Centennial’s flourishing
medical academy and counts all of
her English classes as her most
cherished. Her favorite color is lime
green; she appreciates a savory mac
‘n’ cheese. Her song list includes
contributions by late rapper Tupac
Shakur. Jaci’s mom tells her to “be
awesome” every morning before
school.
Seniors will also host a
Powder Puff Flag Football
tournament on Saturday,
November 22nd. The tournament will be open to
teams of 10. More information will be posted soon.
