1. The tournament organisers must receive online entries in Tournament software
no later than Sunday 16/11/14 midnight with the relevant fees paid via EFT.

2. The Tournament Committee shall control the entire management of this Tournament, and
all decisions will be final. Please note grades offered over the weekend.
3. The Tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down
by the Badminton World Federation ( B.W.F. ) for the carrying out of Tournaments except
as altered by these conditions.
4. All players registered with Sydney BA / Dubbo / Nowra /Lismore / Coffs Harbour / Hunter
BA / ACTBA / NSWBA are entitled to a member discount.
5. Players may wish to check the UNSW Badminton Club’s website (if email not received) at
www.badminton.unsw.edu.au on Friday 21 Nov, 2014 for draws and playing schedule.
6. Each competitor must submit a separate online entry. The Committee reserves the right to
re-grade any player from any event.
7. Players should proceed to the courts as soon as their names are called for a match. The
match will commence 2 minutes after players arrive on the courts.
8. Events will be conducted in knockout or round robin depending on number of entries.
9. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to cancel any event if insufficient entries are
received. Players who fail to turn up and/or proceed to the courts within a 5 minutes graceperiod of their names being called face a forfeit of the games with no refunds.
10. Players are required to umpire matches when requested
Subject to the number of entries, the Saturday Doubles and Mixed
Finals will be played on Sunday at 11:00am

Special Online Entry Requirements:
1. All players must have an ID number in Tournament software This ID
must be correct (i.e. ID should start with NSW for NSW players, ACT
for ACT players or a 5-digit number for players who have a BWF Id).
2. If players have more than one ID they should use the most recent one
to ensure that national ranking points are correctly awarded.
NSW3000+ IS NOT A VALID Tournament Software ID
3. For players who do not have an ID, please Enter NSWXXX where
XXX is your Initials. You will receive an Id after the tournament
4. All players must have the "State" and "Country" fields completed on
the online entry form (viz. NSW & AUSTRALIA) at the “Personal
Details” section after the step 1- Regulations and before Step 3“Entry Details”
5. If you fail to fill in the above details in the enrolment form, player’s
results will be rejected by the BA tournament software and will not be
recorded in the database. Badminton NSW bears no responsibilities
of the relevant tournament results by player to Badminton Australia if
the above details are not entered in the online enrolment form.

Match scheduling
The organisers will be enforcing strict match
scheduling for this tournament.
As match times will be set prior to the day of the
competition, all entries need to be paid for prior to
the draw being conducted generally the week before.
Check the UNSW Badminton website if email not
received at (www.badminton.unsw.edu.au) for
match times on Friday 21 November, 2014.

As prize money is offered, the organisers will
strictly follow the grading list available from the
Sydney Badminton website and on previous results.
Note that the organisers reserve the right to
reject or re-grade entries.
Late entries will only be entertained in cases of
withdrawals or extreme circumstances as determined
by the organising committee.

Club sessions are at the UNSW Gymnasium(Unigym)
Tuesday 7:00 – 10:00 pm and Saturday 1:00 – 6:00pm
Remember that all payments must be
received by the closing date to confirm your
entry in the tournament.

All graded events will be limited entries and when the
maximum is reached you are placed on a wait list so your
