Bob Lowe (MBA ‘64)
Bob Lowe (MBA '64) is Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Lowe Enterprises, a privately owned diversified national
real estate company active in commercial, hospitality and residential
property investment, development and management. Headquartered in
Los Angeles, the firm maintains regional offices in Denver, San Diego, Irvine, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C. Over the
past 41 years, Lowe Enterprises has developed, acquired or managed
more than $21 billion of real estate assets. Lowe is currently responsible for more than $5 billion of commercial, hospitality and residential
assets nationwide. Through its hospitality management subsidiary, the
firm oversees the management of more than 10,000 hotel rooms/units
nationwide.
Tad Taube (‘53, MS ‘57)
Tad Taube ('53, MS '57) is founder and chairman of the Woodmont
Companies, a diversified real estate investment and management organization. Since its founding in 1963, the Company has been involved
in the acquisition, development, and management of income properties exceeding $5 billion in valuation. In the 1990’s Taube expanded his
interests to include some 5,700 acres of land development projects in
Placer and San Benito Counties. Taube has become one of Bay Area’s
preeminent philanthropists through his presidency of the Koret Foundation and his creation of Taube Philanthropies. His philanthropy touches the Stanford community through his longtime involvement with the
Hoover Institution, the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research,
the Stanford Center for Jewish Studies, Stanford Athletic Board, Stanford Hillel and the Taube/Koret Campus for Jewish Life.
