Tuesday November 4th
(Women In God’s Service )
Be sure to mark your calendars for
Tuesday, November 18th at 6:30 pm!
We will be drawing names for our
We’re getting ready for a Happy Thanksgiving, and you’ll
want to be here for “Stir It Up – Be Part of the Mix!”
We have Pentecostal Evangel Magazines laid out on the tables in the Foyer.
Feel free to take one if you like. There are always interesting articles to read.
When you are done with the magazine, pass it along to your friends or relatives.
Out of Suffering: God delivers His people out of suffering, not from it.
Risking Everything: A pastor and congregation in Sri Lanka are willing to face harassment
and even harm for the sake of the gospel.
Celebrating in the Face of Suffering: The centennial celebration of Sri Lanka Assemblies
of God exemplifies the resilience of believers who persevere in trying circumstances.
Willing to Give All: The plight of suffering believers challenges us to examine how God is
calling us to respond.
Standing With the Suffering: Max Schlapfer, chairman of the Commission on Religious
Liberty for the World AG Fellowship, discusses the responsibility of believers to stand with
the suffering church.
A Grain of Wheat: In life and in death, a pastor’s testimony bears fruit for the gospel.
We will be having our Missions Emphasis on November 2nd.
We will have a special Missionary Speaker, and will be taking pledges at that
time.
Take time to look at the list of Missionaries that we are currently giving
money to. Take time to pray for the Missionaries, and also what God would
have you pledge to them.
You can either make a pledge to a certain Missionary, or you can write that it
is an undesignated pledge, and the pledge will be added to the other
undesignated pledges and divided amongst the Missionaries.
As the Missionaries sacrifice in all kinds of ways, let us also sacrifice to help
them get on the Mission Field where God has called them to be.

PRAYER IN THE SANCTUARY.
EVERYONE IN THE CONGREGATION IS
ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. SEEK GOD.
Dear Congregation,
May 4th, 2015 will actually be Theresa and my 7th anniversary as your
lay-servant and pastor. What a privilege it has been to serve Christ by
serving you, along with the responsibility and challenges that come
with being a shepherd of one of God's local assembly of believers.
We have laughed and cried with you through both good and hard
times. (Sounds like a marriage doesn't it?)
Through it all we have been fortunate to have all of you as willing
participants in cooperating with the Lord in building His Kingdom here
in the Baraboo area. It is always a thrill to see baby Christians being
born into the Church. It is also a blessing to see all of you "older",
mature saints carrying the burden of ministry with us.
Theresa and I simply want to "THANK YOU" for honoring us this past
Pastor Appreciation Sunday. The gifts we received from you were
very, very generous and truly let us know that you do love, honor and
respect us as your Christ appointed leaders.
Again, "THANK YOU!" Until He comes again,
Pastor Jon W. and Theresa Arneson

September 2014
Greetings from Wisconsin!
Yes, you read that right…we are still in Wisconsin. The last time we
were in contact, we were hoping to be out by the end of June. We
apologize for the lack of a newsletter this summer, but we were
hoping to have more details about when we were leaving. We have
been asked by our leadership in Europe to pray about some
changes that could be taking place as we move forward. The
moment we get the green light on everything, we will let you all
know. As much as our heart longs to be back in Europe, we know
that God is working out the details. Plus, who could turn down a
little more family time while stateside…not us! Please be praying
for all of us, that God will give us the wisdom and direction we
need.
We want to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who made this a
successful itineration! We truly had a great time reconnecting,
meeting new people, and traveling till we could travel no more!
Looking back at our itineration calendar, we had the opportunity to
be apart of 70 church services, numerous meetings, and drove
over 30,000 miles. We have such special memories of people we
met along the way, watched as God moved and changed lives, and
were humbled as we met all the different prayer warriors who have
been praying for us since the beginning.
Also, we rejoice that we have reached our budget! Thank you to
everyone who has been with us so far, and those who are new in
joining us on our journey. What a huge relief it is to look at our
monthly statement and see that we are ready to go!
As we gear up to head back to Europe, our hearts are so excited
for what God has in store for us. If we close our eyes, Brent and I
can still go back to all those moments this past year when people
prayed over us. The prayers of intercession, encouragement, and
faith of what God WILL do that we could never do on our own.
We pray that everyone has an amazing fall! May we always keep
our eyes on Him!
