REGISTER EARLY No Refunds Pitching & Hitting Clinic Schedule 9:00 Registration 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Melinda Fischer, Head Softball Coach Head Coach Melinda Fischer, now in her 30th season at the helm of a highly successful softball program at Illinois State University, has established herself and her team in a league of their own. A 2012 NCAA Regional birth highlights the teams recent success but is not overshadowing of its long-term accolades which include: six conference coach of the year honors, two regional coach of the year citations, NFCA Hall of Fame, twenty All-American and countless other team and individuals honors. Where? Horton Field House Illinois State University, Normal, IL Who can participate? Any softball player, ranging from 6th grade through 12th grade What to bring? Bring your own equipment Batting gloves, gloves, bats, gym shoes Catchers bring FULL GEAR. Make sure everything is labeled! Cost? $140/clinic or $240 for two clinics Includes instruction, insurance, and camp t-shirt. Ryan Duncheon, Catching Instructor Ryan Duncheon was a catcher for the Redbirds from 1997-2000. Duncheon is the only Illinois State baseball player to earn three first-team All -Missouri Valley Conference honors during his career. Duncheon took his catching prowess on to the next level where he played for the Boise Hawks in Major League Baseball. In 2010, Duncheon was inducted in to the Illinois State University Athletics Hall of Fame. Tina Kramos, Associate Head Softball Coach Tina Kramos is in her 15th season at Illinois State after a successful softball career, both as a player and coach. A two-time member of the All-MVC first team highlighted her success as a player for league member Missouri State. After graduation, Kramos became as assistant coach at Colorado-Colorado Springs before moving to Nicholls State. Her coaching experience brought her to the Redbirds. Tina competed for Greece in the 2004 Olympics. Megan Warner, Assistant Softball Coach Megan Warner joined the Redbird coaching staff as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator in August. Warner is no stranger to the Redbird softball program after a fouryear pitching career followed by a two-year stint as a graduate assistant manager. Warner understands success, because she had her own in the circle as a Redbird. She was a four-year letter winner for Illinois State, a two-time AllMissouri Valley Conference selection and led the Redbirds to three-straight NCAA Regional appearances, including one Regional title game.
