Announcements
iLoveSingapore Jubilee Fund
We thank BBTCians for your generous giving to the iLoveSingapore Jubilee Fund.
While we have targeted to collect $100,000, we have far exceeded the targeted amount
raising $218,849 from the one time collection on Anniversary Sunday. Indeed you have
demonstrated the BBTC Core Value to sow intentionally as unto the Lord.
The fund will be dispensed prudently through love assistance and gifts to those in our midst
and the nations.
As part of our accountability, we will report them periodically in this newsletter.
A. Telugu Migrant Workers
One of the recipients of the fund is the Telugu migrant workers in our midst. On the 1st
Anniversary of the Telugu Service in BBTC on 4th October 2014, Ps Daniel Koh gave out
NTUC and food vouchers (worth $80) to 97 Telugu migrants workers. The total sum
disbursed was $ 7,760.
B. Yunnan earthquake victims
During the recent mission trip to Yunnan, Ps Eunice also gave out cash assistance (totalling
S$1062) for 17 families a well as stationeries, schoolbags and other items (total worth of
S$580) for 90 children.

6th year into this mission field at China Yunnan, each year a different experience, a different
encountering of God's love, grace and mercy. Setting foot with a new team (Pastor Ernest,
Jessie and Kok Kong) into a new territory of Lincang, I was reminded of a promise given by
God that He Himself will open doors that no man can shut (Revelations 3:7). And throughout
the trip, I saw how God performs this word as He opens doors to homes, hearts, churches to
experience His abundant love and blessings.
During our home visits in the mountains, I met many who are sick and in need. Though I often
pray for the sick here in Singapore, the needs and cries of the people there are of a totally
different nature. We visited a family where all the males became deaf and mute after one of
their ancestors entered into a covenant with Satan. Another boy had a strange illness and
stopped growing – he was 13 but had a frame of a 8 years old. There many cases of
barrenness in women. The list goes on. As the most amateur in the team, I was a bit
overwhelmed at first, but as I applied what I learnt in RTF and ministered healing with the rest,
God taught me that no matter how bad the situation is, nothing is too hard for the Almighty
God (Jeremiah 32:27), and there was nothing that cannot be redeemed / restored through
Christ's finished work on the cross. As we magnify God, hope and faith arise, and I felt in my
spirit His healing flow. I was deeply moved by God's love for them and knew that He's at work
to heal and set them free, to let them know that they were never forgotten, and He is their ever
present help in times of need. There were testimonies of immediate healing – one of our local
partners who suffered from polio and severe joint pain in both legs, felt 80% better after being
ministered to! I continue to pray that many more will experience God's healing and
restoration, know and experience the reality of His love in deeper measure in days to come.
Throughout the trip, we built relationships with some of the church leaders and I was
particularly encouraged by their devotion to God. The never give up spirit and commitment to
serve God at all cost under very difficult circumstances spurred me on. God has planted them
high in mountains and dark quiet corners in little towns which seemed unreachable, and
impossible through ways of man. But I know now that our God is a God of the impossible
(Luke 18:27), and what He purposed cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:27). In ways our natural
eyes cannot see, the whole earth is indeed filled with His glory (Isaiah 6:3).
I give thanks to God for all I experienced in this trip, a priceless encounter and adventure with
a great, loving and Almighty God.

Yunnan Missions Testimonie
Kok Kong
This was my very first trip to China. I had bad nausea and threw out thrice the last time I was
on just slightly bumpy, hilly roads. As the Yunnan terrains are far more mountainous, I told
God that I wanted my healing from my motion sickness problem. God is faithful! I did not
experience any nausea, not even a hint of it, for all the commuting on the entire trip, with full
meals and without any medication at all!
We heard it before and now we heard for ourselves, that the believers in China took their faith
seriously. The life testimonies of the faith and resilience of the believers were so touching and
the sacrifices they made for their faith and for the Gospel were most inspiring. Some of them
would trek long hours up the mountains just to shepherd a believer/family or to reach a village
up there with the Gospel. Likewise, some aged and aching believers, worn down by years of
farm labors on mountain slopes, still walked 2 to 3 hours one-way to attend Sunday service.
Some were denied very considerable public subsidies/privileges because of their faith, yet
they did not waver. The lack of material comforts did not make them poor, in our eyes in all
due respect, they were rich in their hearts towards God! We can't help but felt that their faith is
so REAL, so EARNEST and they counted the cost of discipleship. We were touched, edified
and inspired. We are not sure if they yearn for the material we have, but we know we could do
more with what they have - the real, sincere, earnest faith!
The churches there are not familiar with the things of the Spirit and ministering divine healing.
The presence of "Christian" cult groups, false prophets and false messiahs operating there,
some with "miracles", didn't help the situation either. There is certainly a need for proper
teaching and equipping in this area and in this regard, the various equipping sessions by the
team were timely. The tangible presence and move of God during ministry time allayed their
initial concerns and opened up their minds as they saw the power of God demonstrated (they
laid hands on each other and healings took place!). While the team had the opportunity to
minister to many, the greatest privilege is the personal ministry to the 3 key leaders of 3 local
congregations each crying inside with deep personal needs.
The needs in China are tremendous. It is not easy to describe, you have got to be there to see
it, to feel it, to give to it. We went with the purpose to bless and to give, but in the end, we
received more than we gave (spiritually) and were blessed more than we have blessed.

Breakfast Fundraising on 16th November 2014 (Sunday)
In December, 25 members from Agape and Clay CG will be heading to Batam to bless
the families and children living in the slum areas.
There will be a breakfast fundraising this Sunday on the 16 of November where all
proceeds raised will be channelled to the purchase of basic living necessities to help
these poor families and children. We encourage BBTCians to come sow intentionally unto
the Lord through this meaningful initiative.
