The Texas Department of Transportation is
working to secure funding to build an
overpass on FM 1774 in Magnolia that will
elevate over the railroad tracks at the FM
1488 intersection and provide continuous
movement along FM 1774. The design phase
of the project is about 85 percent complete.
The project will be opened for contractor
bidding in spring 2016.

3 The Grand Parkway Segments
F1, F2 and G
Construction of the Grand Parkway is
requiring lane closures and traffic
diversions on some roads near the
project, including a total closure of
Boudreaux Road—both eastbound
and westbound—from Hwy. 249 to Old
Boudreaux Road nightly from 8 p.m. to
6 a.m. from Nov. 5 through Nov. 7. There
will also be a total closure of eastbound
and westbound Gleannloch Forest Drive
from Boudreaux Road to Northpointe
Drive nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from
Nov. 10 through Nov. 12. In addition, the
left lane of eastbound and westbound
Champion Forest Drive from Boudreaux
Road to 0.6 miles east of Boudreaux Road
will be closed through March 2015. Three
segments—F1, F2 and G—of the project
are under simultaneous construction and
will total 37 miles.
Timeline: Project is estimated to be
complete in December 2015.
Cost: $1 billion
Funding sources: TxDOT
The clearing activity is nearing completion and
the respective utility relocation efforts are
underway as part of the capital improvement
project by Harris County Precinct 4 to widen
Segment 1 of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road in
Tomball from a two-lane asphalt roadway
to a four-lane concrete boulevard section.
Construction is expected to commence
November 2014. Segment 1 will widen the
road from 400 feet south of Spring Cypress
Road north to Hollow Glen Lane.
Timeline: Completion is expected 10–12
months from November 2014.
Cost: $6.4 million
Funding sources: Harris County Precinct 4
6 Hufsmith-Kohrville Road
widening Segment 6
Harris County Commissioners Court approved
the results of the study phase of the project to
widen Segment 6 of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road
in Tomball from 500 feet south of Willow
Creek Estates south to Holderrieth Road
on Oct. 28. The project will move into the
design phase, which will determine whether

section with storm sewer system or to a fivelane concrete pavement roadway with open
ditch draining. Construction is slated to begin
in either the third or fourth quarter of 2015.
Timeline: Completion is expected nine–12
months from start date.
Cost: $7.4 million
Funding sources: Harris County Precinct 4
IT “SINISI” NAME TO REMEMBER!
“Vinny and his assistant Shanna were amazing! We would not have the house of
our dreams without them! Vinny is an amazing Realtor that treats you as if you
were one of his family members trying to find that perfect house. He never made
it feel like he was just trying to get the sell. He is very knowledgeable and taught
us a lot through the whole process. His assistant Shanna is a saint. I couldn’t tell
you how many times I called to bug her about something. She always answered
my questions and never made me feel like I was bugging her, even though I felt
bad for all the questions. I would recommend TeamSinisi any day to someone!
Thank you TeamSinisi” - Bev & Logan
