KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince
Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
received at Bayan Palace yesterday His
Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad AlAhmad Al-Sabah. HH Sheikh Nawaf also
received Governor of the Central Bank of
Kuwait (CBK) Mohammad Al-Hashel, Finance
Minister Anas Al-Saleh and Togolese
Economy and Finance Minister Adji Oteth
Ayassor.
Ayassor handed over HH the Crown Prince
a letter from Togolese President Faure
Gnassingbe addressed to HH the Amir Sheikh
Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah about
means to bolster bilateral relations.
HH the Crown Prince also received
Mauritanian Minister of Economy and
Development Sidi Ould Tah who handed him
a letter from Mauritanian President Mohamed
Ould Abdelaziz addressed to HH the Amir
Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
and focuses on bilateral relations. The meetings with Togolese and Mauritanian ministers
were attended by Deputy Minister of Amiri
Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah and
Undersecretary of HH Crown Prince for
Protocols Sheikh Mubarak Sabah Al-Salem
Al-Humoud Al-Sabah. HH the Crown Prince
also received Deputy National Assembly

KUWAIT: Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled meets members of the journey’s board of trustees. — KUNA
FM receives Hope journey board
KUWAIT: First Deputy Prime Minister and
Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled AlHamad Al-Sabah received yesterday the board
of trustees of the Journey of Hope and congratulated them on the successful tour around
the world.
Sheikh Sabah Khaled said the Journey of
Hope had achieved set targets, namely highlighting Kuwait’s civilized and humanitarian
image as well as the country’s support to the
disabled.
Board Chairman and Executive Director of
the Journey of Hope Youssef Abdulhamid AlJassim, and board members, expressed gratitude to Sheikh Sabah Khaled for the support
and facilities offered by the Foreign Ministry
and diplomatic missions overseas during the
tour, which helped realize the set goals.
The delegation included Sheikha Sheikha
Al-Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah, Captain Faisal
Thanian Al-Ghanim, Dr Modhi Al-Hamoud,
brigadier Khaled Al-Kandari, Saoud Faisal
Alghanim and Rehab Boresly.
Separately, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled met vis-
iting Togo’s Finance M inister Adji O teth
Ayassor, and his accompanying delegation. The
meeting was attended by the Foreign
Minister’s Office Director Ambassador Sheikh
Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah,
Acting Director of African Department Hamad
Sulaiman Al-Meshaan and other officials from
the Ministry.
The Foreign Minister also received the credentials of the newly-appointed ambassador
of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait, Almas

CBK concludes employees training program
KUWAIT: The Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK)
celebrated the graduation of six employees from
a special training course titled ‘Newly
Graduating Kuwaiti bankers Recruitment and
development Program.’ The celebration was
attended by CBK executive administration team
members and a group of bankers. The course
was recently held under auspices of the Central
Bank of Kuwait. Speaking on the occasion, CBK’s
Human Resources Department Manager,
Mohammed Amin stressed that enrolling
employees in specialized training course was
part of the bank’s policy to give them modern
knowledge and skills that would positively influence their jobs performance.
