Ceramiche Viva is a small jewel
nestled in the green heart of Italy,
the Umbria region, surrounded by
green hills and gracious medieval
towns. The factory is located just few
minutes afar from Deruta, a small
town famous for its ancient ceramic
tradition whose origins date back to
the thirteenth century.
While treasuring the old tradition of
Deruta's ceramics, Ceramiche Viva
believes that ceramics should be
inventive and surprising so that is
why our items have original shapes
and decors. We offer an innovative
product particularly suitable for
people who are looking for Italian
ceramics with a new design and
style.

an up-to-date pottery rich of images
and feelings, which abides by the
most ancient tradition.
Everything we imagine and create
comes from a deep inspiration.
It’s by walking on the road, looking
at a river or a field of luxuriant corn,
a flower or our hills that the ideas
for our decorations and shapes take
life. Nature is our main source of
inspiration.
The brightness of the colours will
remain in time unaltered. All our
items do not fear the use in the
dishwasher and the oven.
MANUFACTURE
Manufacture
Great care and attention is devoted
to the choice of the materials. All
our biscuit ceramics are made from
selected clays and raw materials.
Strict controls throughout the
various production steps, efficient
machines and specialised personnel
ensure constant quality.
The whole manufacture process is
handmade in Italy.
All our items respect all the
regulations in force regarding enduse, with particular attention to
kitchen and dinnerware.
For the decoration we use photos
which are processed on computer
by our graphic artists, then undergo
silk screening during which we use
up to 12-13 colours in order to obtain
unique chromatic effects.
