The Carson Leslie Foundation believes in synergy, collaboration, working together and directing funds.
Because of a unique relationship with a Texas-based cancer institute, our funds are leveraged over 20x,
thus allowing each donated dollar to make a much greater impact!
The American Cancer Society recently announced staggering statistics:
 1 in 285 U.S. children will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20
 cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S.
 cancer in children is on the rise
Our first funded grants called the Carson Leslie Awards for Pediatric Brain cancers, total more than
$3,200,000. We couldn’t be more pleased to announce, research is underway!
We’re carefully following each study and will post exciting discoveries! Grant recipients include:



The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Genotype and Metabolic Phenotype in Pediatric Brain cancer
Baylor College of Medicine
Proton Beam Radiation vs. Conventional Beam Radiation
Texas Tech University Health Science Center (using actual tumors from Carson’s brain)
Rational Redox-Driven Non-Toxic Therapeutic Strategies
With leveraged funds, staggering statistics and Carson’s dying wish echoing in our hearts, “make sure they
study those tumors, if those tumors can help the next kid not die from cancer like I am, I’d like that”, we are
steadfast in our mission: to fund pediatric cancer research and encourage teens in the battle...
We’re looking for Cronies, Homies, Buddies, Pals, Comrades and Dudes to be our underwriters.
