BOURBON CHICKEN
Ingredients
○ 4 skinless, boneless chicken
breast halves
○ 1 tsp. ground ginger
○ 4 oz. soy sauce
○ 2 tbsp. dried minced onion
○ 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
○ 3/8 cup bourbon
○ 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Directions
1. Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl combine the ginger, soy
sauce, onion flakes, sugar, bourbon & garlic powder. Mix together & pour mixture over the
chicken. Cover dish & place in refrigerator. Marinate overnight.
2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
3. Remove the dish from the refrigerator & remove cover. Bake in the preheated oven, basting
frequently, for 1 1/2 hours or until the chicken is well browned & juices run clear.
