prevent our ability to accommodate specific facility or roommate requests.
RBLC requests receive consideration before any of your other
preferences or requests. It is your responsibility to follow up with the
liaison regarding your acceptance and assignment into your requested

Roommate Request and Matching Information
You are not required to request a roommate, however if you wish to request a specific roommate(s), please list their
information below. Roommate requests must be mutual between all roommates listed in order to be considered. Roommate
preferences cannot be guaranteed but will be considered whenever possible. To increase the likelihood of assignment
into the same living unit, it is imperative that all students who have mutually requested to live together also:
 Submit completed housing applications at the same time
(the greater the separation in application dates the more difficult it is to accommodate roommate requests)


Enter the exact same building preference requests
Ensure that if a Residential Based Learning Community (RBLC) was requested, all roommates have requested and are
approved for that same RBLC.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS NOTICE:
The Office of Housing and Residence Life is committed to assisting students with disabilities or special housing
needs. Students needing accommodations because of disability or medical condition will need to register with
Adaptive Educational Services (AES) http://aes.iupui.edu and complete the appropriate forms issued by AES
before accommodations can be considered. The AES office is located in Taylor Hall, Suite UC 100. You can
reach AES by calling 317-274-3241 with accommodations related questions.
***DO NOT SEND MEDICAL INFORMATION TO THE HOUSING OFFICE***
I attest that the information included in the Housing Application is accurate and complete. I understand this is not a
housing contract and that the contract will be completed at a later date and assignments are not guaranteed. I
understand that the application for housing and the application for admission to the University are separate and
independent transactions that I initiate. I understand that the University makes all assignments without regard to
race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or veteran status and rejects all requests for changes of
assignment based on such. I acknowledge that I have read and understand the requirements under the Special
Accommodation Request Notice above. Finally, I understand that if/when I sign my contract, I will be required to
pay a $400 housing prepayment and that it is my responsibility to understand and abide by the rules and
regulations that are detailed in the Residential Handbook and Housing Contract. I have enclosed the nonrefundable $50 housing application fee.
