IUPUI FINANCIAL AID UPDATE
Marvin Smith
Director of Student Financial Services
Student Financial Services Overview
•
The IUPUI Office of Student Financial Services understands how important
finances are to the success of our students. We demonstrate our commitment
to IUPUI student success through our awarding of need-based and meritbased financial aid programs.
•
We also are committed to financial education programming at orientation, via
online learning modules, and in the classroom. We offer students and families
several financial success planning tools and resources and promote a
message of graduating from IUPUI as quickly as possible with as little debt as
possible.
•
We know financial aid and billing processes can be confusing. Our goal is to
make a complicated process a little easier as we help students pursue an
IUPUI degree.
•
IUPUI offers lower tuition and fees than many four year colleges in Indiana.
•
IUPUI offers over 225 undergraduate and graduate degree programs from two
world-class institutions in one centrally located, dynamic campus.
•
The economic strength of Indianapolis provides countless local career
development opportunities
•
We are committed to helping IUPUI students along the journey to financial
freedom. Students and parents should not hesitate to contact our office if we
can help in any way.
