Thank you to EVERYONE that helped with planning
last Shabbat’s Veteran celebration, led by committee
chair, Dave Reed, with Brenda Burgan, Gary Hyman,
and Vito Simone.
It was so beautiful to see all the Veterans parade around
with the Torah and participate in the honors and aliyahs.

BOOK SALON
The Book Salon will be meeting on Thursday, November
20th at 11:00 am. The book is “The Midwife of Venice” by

SHARE THE MITZVAH
The theme for this year’s Point of Light was
“Share the Mitzvah”.
AED/CPR Class - If you took the last MMAE AED/CPR
certification class, your card is expiring. A new class will be
offered on Sunday, December 7th from 10:00 am - 12:00
noon. If anyone is interested in taking this class and becoming certified, please call the office to register. Space is
VERY limited. NO WALK-INS.
There is still time for you to be included on the Point of Light
board in the lobby. We encourage everyone to sign up and play
a direct role in the mitzvah of making sure everyone who wants
to attend High Holiday services at MMAE can do so. Simply
call the office and say you want to be included. Pledges stay
open until Chanukah.
BROTHERHOOD
Join the Brotherhood for a Tailgate party on Sunday, December 7th from 12:00 noon-4:00 pm. RSVP to Vito Simone at
[email protected] or 410-952-5595. Cost is $8 for
adults and children are free. Wings and munchies, and draft
beer will be served.
ISRAEL TRIP CHANGES UPDATE
The MMAE trip to Israel has been changed
from November 2014 to May 7 - 21, 2015.
If you were on the November 2014 trip list,
please confirm with the shul office that you will
be going on the May 2015 trip.
If you were not confirmed for the November 2014 trip,
but would like information regarding the May 2015 trip,
please call the office and we will be
happy to provide the itinerary and costs.
Social Club General Membership Meeting - The meeting
will be on Sunday, November 23rd at 7:00 pm and will
include year-end reports, coming events, and the election of
officers. Light refreshments will be served.
Square Dance - Saturday, December 13 at 8:30 pm. Light
refreshments will be served. BYOB (kosher). Club members

Old Fashioned December 25th movie and Chinese dinner
See the video, “The Frisco Kid”, a comedy about the adventures of a Rabbi (Gene Wilder) on his way to lead his new
congregation in the old west, followed by a buffet dinner.
