Available Sites
We have to accept that Cheddington is going to get more housing over the next 19 years and we as a
community, have over the last year been working on completing a neighbourhood plan so we can
have an input on where this development takes place
Following consultation with Land Owners and AVDC the number sites available within the village is
limited and is shown on the plan below in Green.
From these available sites we have devised four options, A, B, C and D
These schemes deliver circa 100 new homes however this number will vary depending on the final
mix of housing on each site, we as a steering group have chosen this number because currently
AVDC does not have a plan for the amount of housing it needs to deliver over the next 20 years. Our
advisors have suggested that we chose to add 100 new homes, it will mean that the neighbourhood
plan will have longevity, meaning we will not have to create a new plan for a significant time.
