From our Parish Nurse As we love God with every part of ourselves, He brings unity and wholeness to our life. Every element of who we are--body, soul,
spirit, mind, emotions, will, personality--works together for a beautiful outcome. Unleashing God's love in our hearts brings unity and allows His love to flow
through every part of us. God's love also fulfills our need for healing. Life's problems, trials and pains leave us injured emotionally, relationally and spiritually.
If we ever need God to make a way in our life it is when we are suffering. God is a healer. He has the will and the resources to put our life together. As the
psalmist writes, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" Psalm 147:3.We must bring those areas of pain to God in order to experience His
love and healing. We welcome God and His love into our pain, then He will make a way for us. The more we make ourselves accessible to Him, the more we
can grow, be healed and find His way. Whatever problem we deal with in life, do not hide it from God. Love God with your heart, soul, mind, and strength
and let His love set us free. Leigh Ann Benson, RN, Parish Nurse, 558-5839
