Apology The NB Executive Committee has become aware that some confusion has arisen in relation to the request for its members to contribute $2 at each class to cover the cost of tea, coffee and other sundry expenses. The background to this request was explained in an email from our President, Ruth Buchanan, dated 28 July 2014. We would like to emphasise that this request to members is, of course, on a voluntary basis and was never intended to be mandatory. It is the principle of Sydney U3A that there are no mandatory charges other than the annual membership fees. We apologise that this misunderstanding arose.
