MARKETS SUMMIT
The Africa Debt Capital Markets (ADCM) Summit is designed to provide an update on the latest
developments in Africa’s debt capital markets,
showcase investment opportunities, and understand the continent’s position within the broader
global economy and international financial
markets.
Now in its fifth edition, this year’s Summit
will focus on the role that international investors
(pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, hedge
funds) can play in deepening Africa’s debt capital
markets, as well as highlighting the range of opportunities that investors can tap into.
Through a combination of panel discussions,
case-study presentations and networking breaks,
the Summit will offer a unique platform for issuers, investors, intermediaries and regulators to
meet, network and discuss the market’s current
trends, opportunities, and future developments.
Since its inaugural edition at the London Stock
Exchange in 2011, the ADCM Summit has represented a must-attend event for top level African
and international stakeholders operating in the
continent’s growing debt markets, including issuers, investors, rating agencies, law firms, and
investment banks.
For the past four years, the event has significantly contributed to bridging the knowledge
gap about opportunities in Africa’s debt markets,
changing risk perceptions of investing in African
bonds, and forging partnerships between African issuers, international investors and service
providers.
