TMC Behavioral Health delivers services through community outreach clinics in the Kansas City metropolitan area as well
as at our main location in the Crossroads Art District. Our unique role as a hospital-based mental health center supports a
whole-person, integrated health model of service delivery that is increasingly the standard of best practice for healthcare.

This inpatient unit adjacent to the Lakewood Care center specializes in the treatment of patients with late-life depression,
psychosis, bipolar disorder, delirium and
dementia related behavioral disturbances.
Lakewood Counseling
Lakewood Counseling in Lee’s Summit,
offers a broad range of outpatient mental
health services, including individual, group
and family counseling, substance abuse
treatment, compulsive gambling treatment,
adolescent and child psychiatry including
autism spectrum.
Fairmount Counseling
Integrated into Fairmount Family Medical
Care in northwest Independence provides
consultation and brief intervention in medical clinic with a psyciatric nurse navigator,
adult, child & adolescent counseling and
