October fall 2014 Issue
“FALL FESTIVAL AT WESTCREEK!”
The fall festival was a success! The parents, teachers and
staff did a great job of making sure the students had a great
time. We had several stations set up with a lot of fun
activities for the students to participate in, all the students
when home with some treats from Ms. Owens trunk.
Thanks to the Afterschool Family.
Lights On! Hands On!
Here at Westcreek, we celebrated
Lights On by doing side walk art,
decorated pumpkins, and of
course art! We celebrate Lights
On every year to keep our
families and communities aware
of the safe and clean environment
that we keep for our children, and
to give the parents a chance to see
all the activities that we are doing
during afterschool.

Fitness Connection
Ms. Weaver has put
together a fitness class
for the parents to
attend on Tuesday’s
from 5-6 pm, the
parents are learning
how to do Zumba, and
the parents are doing
a 10 minute walk
before they start the
fitness regimen.

for helping our
Westcreek parents get
fit.
We would like to thank the parents at
Westcreek for helping out with all of our
current events. Without a good parent
connection, our program would just be an
afterschool program. But we are the
Awesome Afterschool Eagles! And we
have awesome parents! Kudos to the
parents.
