We are seeking people interested in joining our pool of Relief Playworkers to work on a casual basis alongside our
permanent Pre-school staff. Childcare experience and/or qualifications are desirable but not essential. However you
must be able to work as part of a team, have commitment to working effectively with young children and their
parents/carers and be interested in providing a quality pre-school experience that supports the care, learning and
development of children aged 2-5, in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Satisfactory clearance from an Enhanced DBS check is a requirement for these roles.
This is a relief role so hours are as and when required to cover staff absences or when extra staffing cover is required.
A Playworker covering a pre-school session would be required to work from 9.15am-12.15pm and may occasionally
also be required to help with lunch club which would require working from 9.15 am – 1.15pm. Our pre-school
operates from Monday - Friday in term time only. National minimum wage applies.
