Fourth Sunday of Advent, Christmas,
Holy Family & New Years
W HAT ’ S H APPENING
A Note from Father Alan …
With this bulletin (covering two weekends) we close out
the Advent Season of joyful hope and welcome the Christmas
Season of joy and peace. Welcome to all who join us at Our
Lady of Victory during this holy season. Thank you for your
presence, your prayer and worship of the Savior.
Thanks to parishioners and parish staff whose great
generosity of time, talent and treasure adds to the beauty and
meaning of all our celebrations, and also helps to extend a
spiritual presence, support and assistance of various kinds
here in the community and beyond. God’s Word, His Son Jesus Christ, has indeed become flesh and continues to dwell
among us.
Prayer from the Christmas Mass at Dawn:
Grant, we pray, almighty God, that, as
we are bathed in the new radiance of your
incarnate Word, the light of faith, which
illumines our minds, may also shine
through in our deeds. Through Jesus your
Son, who lives and reigns...for ever and ever.
On behalf of Deacon Chuck Kampa, Peggy Rezac,
Father Luis Palomino, all of our parish and OLV School staff
and myself… A VERY MERRY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS TO
YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. MAY THE WONDER OF GOD’S
LOVING KINDNESS TOUCH YOUR HEARTS DEEPLY NOW AND
REMAIN WITH YOU IN THE NEW YEAR!
A Merry and Blessed Christmas!
Father Alan
