We have a Saviour (This is Christmas)
Welcome and Call to Worship
I will sing of the LORD's great love for ever; with my mouth
I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
I will declare that your love stands firm for ever,
that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
You said, "I have made a covenant with my chosen one,
I have sworn to David my servant,
'I will establish your line for ever and make your throne firm
through all generations.' " (Psalm 89:1-4)
MP 503: O little town of Bethlehem
Prayers of Approach and Confession
Collect
Heavenly Father, you chose the Virgin Mary, full of grace,
to be the mother of our Lord and Saviour.
Fill us with your grace, that in all things we may embrace
your will, and with her rejoice in your salvation,
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God now and for ever. Amen.

Benediction and Threefold Sung Amen
Listen to the sound of the angels singing
their gospel song.
Listen to the joyful news they're bringing:
Jesus has come!
Glory to God in the highest heaven,
peace on the earth.
Hope is rising, fear subsiding,
where the song is heard.
So let your gospel song be heard,
raise your voice in all the earth;
join the angels singing 'Glory'.
Let your festive anthem sound;
hope and joy and peace abound,
as we sing the Christmas story.
Come with a song of celebration,
come to your king.
Fall to your knees in adoration
and worship him.
He is the Lord of earth and heaven,
God's only son.
Lift up a shout to all creation:
Jesus has come!
So let your gospel song be heard……
Sing, sing, sing to the king, king, king who has come!
Sing, sing, sing to the king, king, king who has come!
Sing to the king, who has come!
Sing to the king, who has come!
Let us sing.

We have a Saviour (This is Christmas)
A child has been given,
the King of our freedom,
sing for the light has come,
this is Christmas.
Come and adore Him,
and bring gifts before Him,
joy to the world,
worship the Son,
this is Christmas.
This is Jesus, Emmanuel,
here with us, tell all the world,
we have a Saviour, we have a Saviour.
We are no longer lost,
'cause He has come down for us,
we have a Saviour, we have a Saviour.
Sing with the angels,
and lift up your voices,
join in the song of hope,
this is Christmas.
This is Jesus……...
Jesus, Emmanuel,
here with us, tell all the world,
we have a Saviour, we have a Saviour.

What kind of throne is a manger of hay,
no majesty shown there, no dignity claimed,
for one who deserves to be crowned and enthroned on our praise?
What kind of king is so modestly born,
when glory unmeasured is humble and small?
This is the hope of the world and the true light of all.
So I'll bow down to worship the humblest of kings
and I'll bring Him the best that I have;
I'll say that I love Him, and that I am his,
and I'll give Him the throne of my heart,
I'll give Him the throne of my heart.
What kind of Saviour makes weakness His strength,
in frailty depending on those He would save,
and veiling the power that always belonged to His name?
What kind of child causes heaven to sing,
with angels proclaiming the hope that He brings?
This is the glory of God, this is Jesus, the King.
So I'll bow down to worship the humblest of kings…..
So I'll bow down to worship the humblest of kings…..

A CD has just been released following the success of
the Harp Concert held in Kinross Parish Church
earlier this year in memory of Esme Macintyre.
It features some of Scotland's best harp players and their
diverse compositions written in tribute to Esme,
the teenager from Kinnesswood who bravely battled
a brain tumour, but died last year aged 18.
All proceeds from the CD go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The CD is available locally at Milnathort Post Office,
Loch Leven’s Larder (Kinnesswood and in McEwans Perth).
It is also available on-line from Amazon, iTunes or
