Championship Points
Sunday morning tests may not be commanded/called. Champion
in each grade will be decided by the allocation of points for
placings at the nominated level. Please note only one
championship class may be entered per combination. Classes
with ‘*’ or ‘**’ are the only accumulator classes

Online Entries are to be made on-line at www.equestrianentries.co.nz.
Nelson Dressage bank account: 03-0751-0211300-00. For your entry to be accepted you must pay
your entry fee prior to the closing date of entries. Please advise rider name in the reference section.
Manual Entries will still be accepted using your ESNZ or non-graded entry form to: Event Secretary,
Anna Terrell, 388 Paton Road, RD1 Richmond. Please make cheques payable to Nelson Area
Dressage Group.
Rider Assistance - All local riders must fill out an assistance form and submit with your entry.For
appointing a task on-line please use the “Yarding/Special Requests” area. Failure to complete will
result in refusal of entry. Failure to show up for your nominated task may also result if refusal of
future entries.

The draw will be emailed competitors that enter via on-line entries and will also be on Nelson
Dressage website – www.nelsondressage.com
This event is being run under the Rules and Regulations of the ESNZ and Rules of the Dressage
Discipline.
A maximum of three tests per day per combination. If riding more than one horse/pony a maximum
of two tests per day per combination.
Separate pony classes will only be held if there are four entries or more in graded classes Level 1 to
Level 3 (excluding challenge tests), otherwise ponies and horses will be combined.
Graded horses and ponies must be currently registered with the ESNZ and graded riders must be
financial members at the time of entry.
Graded horses/ponies may only compete in their current grade or above.
Tests (excluding FEI tests) may be commanded / called (excluding qualifying tests) and whips may be
carried.
Challenge Tests – Ponies will be amalgamated into equivalent horse classes for all challenge tests.
Challenge tests may NOT be commanded/called.
Prize Money will only be paid out on scores of 57% or higher for all grades. In accordance with ESNZ
policy a competitor must attend prize giving to be eligible for prize money, and be dressed as per
requirements of the test.

The OC reserves the right to alter, change or delete any part of this schedule at any time with all due
notice being given to concerned parties.
Cancellations will be posted on the website by 7am. Event will be held unless conditions extreme.
Scratchings – Please notify Anna Terrell. Early Scratching – a full refund is made to rider’s scratching
by 6pm TEN days before the competition starts (excluding online/ manual entry fee). All requests
must be made in writing to the event secretary. Late Scratching – Refunds less 20% will be made
with a vet or doctors certificate, or at the discretion of the OC (excluding online/manual entry fee).
Apply in writing within 14 days of the competition to the event secretary. You must include your
name, address, date of completion, name of the show, classes and total fees to be refunded.
Yards are provided free of charge. Please leave yard and surrounding area clean and tidy.
Cold water and outside toilets are provided.
Overnight camping on the SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY. Please advise on your entry number of horses
and names of people on your entry form. Tents are NOT permitted and NO outdoor cooking please
Dogs are welcome, but please KEEP ON LEAD at all times and away from the kitchen area.
Horses are not permitted in the vicinity of the Administration building FRONT or BACK.
This show is an accumulator for Non-Graded Summer Series Points Prizes and Young Rider Summer
