Community Care
‘N’ Share in Emily
Every
Wednesday
Community Care “N” Share
is held at the Wesleyan
church in Emily. Care ‘N’
Share is a meal prepared by
volunteers, for anyone in the
surrounding communities,
through support and donations from community members.
Volunteers gather at the
Wesleyan
Church
on
Wednesday at 2 p.m. to cook
and get ready for the people
whom they will serve that
night. On the second
Wednesday of the month the
St. Emily’s people and friends
are the volunteers. On the
third Wednesday of the
month, the Laker Lions and
friends are the volunteers.
However, sometimes there’s a
need for more volunteers to
make it possible to feed 200
people.
If you could possibly see
your way to help cook, serve,
or clean up on any given
Wednesday (especially the
first and fourth Wednesdays)
please call Paul or Bobbie at
763-1667. Clean up detail is
especially needed.
NANCY MORITZ accepts a $500 donation for
healthy food from Cuyuna Regional Medical
Center for the Emily Food Shelf. The Emily Area
Food Shelf serves families in Emily, Outing,
Fifty Lakes, Little Pine, Ross Lake and Fairfield
Townships.
