Elvis Pedro, Guitar a native Crucian with a lifelong interest
in music and art. His pursuit of guitar mastery began in
1975 and was inspired by Wes Montgomery, George Benson,

every day through listening, studying, and practice. Elvis
has played with Jimmy Owens, George Benson, Najee, The
Drifters, Sister Sledge, Mighty Sparrow, Lord Kitchener,
Shadow, Bunny Wailer, Lillias White, and WWS Ensemble. A
retired Marshall, he performed throughout the World with
National Guard 73rd Army Band .
Kevre Hendricks, Trumpet, Fllugelhorn:;Son of St. Croix’s
Winona and Lawrence Hendricks, he picked the trumpet at
age 13 and by graduation from St.Croix Ed. Complex (SCEC)
knew he would (and did earn) a BA, Music Education. Now a
Staff Sergeant in the National Guard Army Band, he was
Band Director at Arthur Richards School before accepting
the position of Band Director at his alma mater. Kevre has

MarioThomas,Bass Mario’s dad, acclaimed Saxophonist
Scypio Thomas was the early influence that prompted his
sojourn into the art of the Bass at age 10. Playing Calypso,
reggae, and whatever was popular at the time, he formed his
“Together Root: band in 9th grade. After studying music at
the Military School of Music and Howard University he
toured with Howard’s septet, gigged with John Fadis, Louie
Belson, and Wynton Marsalis, and was a mainstay in saxman Dave Yarborough’s Jazz Band. He formed RHYTHMIX
in 1990 and has been heard at Buccaneer and posh events
for Judges and such. Music concerts at Woodson Jr High
School are an exceptional event because of his excellence as
