Ellen Doty January 9 Ellen Doty is a soulful Canadian vocalist and songwriter with a worldclass voice. Her music is rooted in jazz, yet seamlessly incorporates elements of other genres including folk and pop. Company B January 23 Company B Jazz Band is Vancouver’s foremost vintage jazz harmony group. Neville Bowman April 2 The Neville Bowman Band will present high energy jazz, with Neville singing a mix of favourite standards. The evening will include some fiery pieces from contemporary Latin composers such as Michel Camilo, and a few original works. Laila Biali April 16 Award-winning Canadian Jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter Laila Biali has toured with Suzanne Vega, Chris Botti and Paula Cole and recorded with and supported Sting. She takes the best of pop, rock and soul, informs it with her knowledge of Jazz and weaves it into her musical arrangements are always incredibly energetic and fulfilling.
